- Ha Noi – Hai Phong – Cat Ba: You can book tickets to depart from Luong Yen bus station for Cat Ba by bus – fast boat – bus. It takes 4 hours to arrive at Cat Ba. The starting time can be 5.20 AM, 7.20 AM, 11.20 AM or 13.20 PM. The office is at 28 Tran Nhat Duat and 505 Minh Khai. This trip is easy for foreigners because it is no need to pay for other services any more. The ticket price is 190,000 VND / person. This is best way for tourist, it is not happen any thinks with customer.

- Hai Phong – Cat Ba:

+  take an express boat from Ben Binh for 45 minutes. The starting time is 9.00 AM. The ticket price is 150,000 VND/ person. ( this is hydrofoil )

+ leave Hai Phong city for Cat Ba island by slow boat for 2.5 hours. It starts at 12.00 AM. The ticket    price is 100,000 VND/ person.

+ go by speed boat – bus from “Ben Binh” harbour. The starting time at: 7AM, 10Am, 13PM, 16PM.

The price: 110.000vnd/ person ( spend time: 1.40 hours )

+ go by bus – fast boat – bus from “Ben Binh” harbour. The starting time can be 8.15 AM, 9.45 AM, 1.40 PM, 3.10 PM or 4.35 PM. The ticket price is 130,000 VND/ person. ( spend time: 2 hours)

- Ha Noi – Ha Long city – Cat Ba: you can leave HN for Ha Long city by bus, here you can buy tickets your self to Cat Ba by boat to Gia Luan bus station (Cat Ba), from there take a green bus to Cat Ba. The ticket price is 20,000 VND per person ( but this way some scams happen with tourist)
